| May is the beginning of a new Membership year and it was the first meeting at which our new Board presided . |

Lansdowne (right) are our new Co-Presidents. Here they are making
announcements using our new audio system which was selected and set up by
Kristy Nijenkamp. (Thank you, Kristy!!).

Kristy Nijenkamp (left) served as our
treasurer for the past two years. This year she is our Vice
President. Carl Andrews (right) is our new Meeting Coordinator and
is responsible for setting up chairs, tables, food, equipment, and
nametags for each meeting.

Kim Runge is this year's
Treasurer. Hopefully, she will still be smiling as brightly at the
end of the year. Being Treasurer is lots of work.

Our new Corresponding Secretary is
Nita VanTil - she will have her a section each month on the website where
we will publish her notes from the previous month's meeting.

Member Camille Simmons is shown below
with her husband Robert who is also a member. She is wearing a beaded
lariat. Robert Simmons makes the beads and Camille
incorporates them into into jewelry using a bead crochet technique.
The pieces are stunning and if you would like to see more of Robert's
work, Beads by Design has a tray of his beads on display.
