Southern Flames members were lucky
to have their own Marcy Lamberson demo the making of a shell bead
at the June Meeting. For those of you who are newer to Southern
Flames, Marcy was our SF co-president several years ago, and still
serves on the SF Board in an advisory position. Marcy was also
Regional Director for the Southeast Division of the ISGB. As such
she was instrumental in assisting other areas of the Southeast to form
their own local glass beadmaking groups. And when you read
the ISGB Bead Release, look for Marcy's feature articles on up
and coming Bead Artists. Currently Marcy teaches in her home studio and at FlameTree Glass. She sells her beads from Studio Marcy, an Etsy store, as well as in various galleries in Atlanta.
