Before the Silent Auction started,
members were treated to a fabulous Cinco de Mayo meal created by Gerry
White (Beads by Design owner) and Stephanie White.

We had a short meeting led by
outgoing co-president Carl Andrews and continuing co-president Alice St
Germain. Sitting is Diane Kovach who is our new co-president.
|
|
There were FIVE tables of items up
for bid as well as a table full of vendor literature.
Here are the tables before the auction started. So many goodies
to bid on - Glass Tools, Frit, Murrine, silver wire, presses, gift
certificates, all donated to Southern Flames from vendors. There
were also beads from visiting artists and from our own members and even
two new oxygen concentrators.

Once the bidding started, it was hard
to see the items because so many very busy bidding.

|
After each table closed, we collected
the items we won and stood on line to pay. Cristie Prince and
