Don heats
the glass and uses gravity to curve what will be the neck of the horse.

You can see
where the horses mane will be drawn.

He adds glass to form the horse's
face and then flattens the end.
|
|
You can see the horses cheeks.
The next step is a glob of glass to form the
nose .

The nose
is shaped using heat and gravity. In the next several photos works on the horse's facial
structure. He makes sure to keep the whole bead warm while
he works on the face.
