Alternative Murrini Molds
Many of us have used Steinert molds for making murrine and striped cane. Sylvie Lansdowne has found that much less expensive punch molds used by scrap-bookers also work well. These punches are available in a variety of shapes and some examples of the punches and the murrine that she has made with them are shown below.
