Chris's chickens...

Nebraska artist Chris Haussler creates a myriad of glass art objects including these colorful chickens.

...and little sluggies!

On March 18th, Chris will demo both a chicken and a sluggie for our monthly meeting via Zoom.

February's meeting was a full length demo of the ISGB  2022 Commemorative Bead, pictured above, The video can be viewed here.

March, 2023 : Guest artist Chris Haussler demonstrated how he makes his adorable chickens! He made a large white one and then a wee, blue and white one. The sluggie with the glow in the dark eyes was the adorable critter he made. Even though the poor guy fell on the bench right before going in the kiln, he survived just fine. Thank you, Chris! We look forward to seeing you in October!

Stephanie White showed the group how to create and connect links of boro glass using 4 mm clear boro rods ( available at Flametree Glass). She demo'd several shapes ( oval, triangle, round and even a heart!)
